From the first class to the last...reading the book Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill with members of Marty McEvoy’s study group was truly a “mind expanding” experience. I didn’t want them to end! Marty did such a great job... using plenty of patience to answer questions and add relevance. For me, the two most interesting points were to understand that thoughts are “electrical impulse energy” and that the results I am achieving and experiencing can be traced back to the precise energy that I have given to what I have been thinking and believing in...good or bad. Secondly, thoughts attract situations, people and circumstances that get you results....results I want when I decide to really go for it. Powerful ideas to help me enjoy a happy, fulfilling life. I have been dreaming for years of earning a master's degree, and since I started looking into it, I feel more energized and excited about my career. When you ask the group every tuesday, "what do you really want?" it has made me really look inside to figure it out. No one has made me think about that for the past 6 or 7 years, and now that I know what I want, I feel great about it! At first that question freaked me out, and even bothered me a little, then it motivated me to think about it and work on it. Thanks so much for everything over the last few months. Your guidance has truly improved my attitude and life. Since my baby is due soon, I may not be in the group this week. The chapter on Persistence is really ringing true for me in a lot of ways. As anxious as I am to have this baby, I hope it waits until Wednesday evening!

Also, I wanted to share a follow up to the situation we’d emailed about a few weeks ago. A listing I’ve had since October that just wouldn’t sell. As you suggested, I specified a date (July 13th) with my seller and encouraged him to stop saying “if the house sells”, and say “when the house sells”. I’d visualize sitting at the closing table with my sellers with buyers across from us. Well, I really embraced that and a week or so later, I got an offer on a different property closing July 13th. I was happy, but a little disappointed for my seller. As the 13th got closer and closer I kept saying to myself “I guess I’ll have 2 closings that day”. Well finally, after a big price reduction, we’ve accepted an offer on the property- scheduled to close July 31st! Maybe my vision was dyslexic, but I’ll take it!!

Thank you for giving me permission to be a little outside the box with my clients. I know that’s what made the difference!

Just a quick note to let you know how things are progressing here.

As you know I took on quite a project when I bought this business a couple of years ago. The place had never really done that well and had somewhat of a reputation problem.

Happily I was introduced to you shortly after buying the store. Your knowledge as a CPA helped me right off the bat and you saved me a substantial amount of money that first year.
